VACUUMS

We use Hepa Filtration Twin Motor upright vaccums for all large areas and smaller Tub Vacuums again with Hepa Filtration bags where necessary.

CARPET CLEANING EQUIPMENT

We use a Hydramaster Truck Mounted Carpet Cleaning Machine. This runs on petrol, and stays in the van at all times. It has mounted underneath it a 100 gallon fresh water tank containing softened water. Behind the main machine unit is an 85 gallon recovery tank to retain all the soiled water. This machine heats the water to approximately 220 degrees and so is highly efficient at breaking up soils and grease. It can deliver the solution at pressures up to 1200 psi, although between 350 and 400 psi is generally more than sufficient. The combination of high heat and high pressure ensures that the dirt is forcefully removed from the fibres, in a similar way to the agitation of a washing machine on your clothes. The soil that is now encapsulated in the cleaning solution, is instantly vacuumed away by the high powered blower being driven by the engine of the machine.

This machine is Ten Times more powerful than an electric portable machine, therefore it does the job more effectively and more efficiently. You just cannot compare the two!
How do I know this? Because I have run every sort of portable in the last twenty years, and believe me, there is no comparison. The down side, if there is one, is the cost. A Truck Mounted Machine is at least Ten Times the Cost. A good portable machine is about £1500, whereas a Truck Mount is about £15,000. Which do you think would do the better job? If a Truck Mount wasn't far superior, they wouldn't be able to sell them to anyone, would they?
